Have a dragon in life!

I used to wonder in my childhood what could be China's philosophy behind "Dragon" as its representative animal.

I searched out in Wikipedia then - 

"The Chinese dragon is the highest-ranking animal in the Chinese animal hierarchy, strongly associated at one time with the emperor and hence power and majesty (the mythical bird fenghuang was the symbol of the Chinese empress), still recognized and revered. Its origins are vague, but its "ancestors can be found on Neolithic pottery as well as Bronze Age ritual vessels". Tradition has it composed of nine different animals, with nine sons, each with its own imagery and affiliations. It is the only mythological animal of the 12 animals that represent the Chinese calendar. 2012 is the Chinese year of the Water Dragon."

I wish I know what are those 12 kinds of dragons and what does it represent? 

Anyways, dragon represents power and energies and as far as energies are concerned, why not? Anything that leads to energies, happiness and courage would be certainly divine as all such values forms part of godliness and undoubtedly accepted by public at large. Have a dragon in life!

Eye to eye with Sea

You must once stand alone have an eye to eye with a vast sea which could be roaring and trying to move forward to catch you inside. Don't be scared! That will give you two thoughts simultaneously, one, you are very small and incapable against the nature and at the same time, though magically, you will feel like nothing is unachievable for you beyond your spirit and courage. Your feet must be solid enough to stick to hold gravity as well your own character!

On the other side, we all have a past! An unforgettable past! The philosophers have all logical reasons to say (in fact to convince you) to forget the past. However, we know we are human beings and can't run away from that fact. In fact, why should we forget past? It is also equally important part of our life, made us learnt so much, put to us the real side of ours and many who are living with us. When you stand opposite sea, you will feel like the waves of past is coming again and again to catch you and drawn you inside. Make sure, you don't get upset or loose your courage and in fact turn out with fresh thoughts as if you had a bath and left the negative thoughts inside the sea!

 

Let us carry our past in our pocket, live in present and take action for future! 

Re-cherishing Visit to Goa 2009

We and our lives - often side track each other.

After achieving a professional degree, a healthy practice, a beautiful wife, few solid friends, loving parents, we still feel life is missing something! What is that we don't know!

We go to movies, libraries, play grounds, hang out with friends but still confused about what is that we miss?

We need in fact a break! A break to see the sun not behind the buildings but roaring and full in the open sky!We need to see vast ocean instead of people and people everywhere. We need space around us for kilometers and kilometers instead of surrounded by mob. We need our legs to leave steps in sand instead of facing the concrete. We need nature! We need a fresh air!

It's been such a long time since we have visited Goa! It was almost end of summer 2009 and we friends visited Goa ending our exams and since then never got such quality time to be with. It's not that we want to leave this routine life and tired of handling the responsibilities but we need that freedom again (though for a while) to charge us back and come back hard to this ever running life.

We certainly looked back to our lives sitting on that wall that is it what actually we want our life to be or we want something else?

This next week I am going to celebrate 3 long years of one of my most memorable tour to Goa putting a pic everyday on Facebook and re-cherish all such beautiful moments! 

I can afford to forego few bucks to maintain my will.
