Things and men made for you spun around you for no reason. They are part of your story and how they unconsciously lead your story; give shape to your story.
Years back, we boys used to seat around my grandfather in our dinosaur (was really big in those times) house. He used to tell us about stories - man made and especially the way he heard from someone else. Time has traveled so fast and today and now my dad tell us story of my grandfather to me.
When you are young; hear or see honesty and bravery practicing, you really doubt if these values are really important in your life. If these are the values on which the roots of your family are going to stand on. These doubts gets confirmed when you hear from your own dad talking about your grandfather's honesty and bravery. How challenging that time would be! How hard it would be to stand on those mere values which paid back to his grand children and still blossoming now and then!
He leaves a strong impression on me that money is really not that vital or primary objective. People make money or run to make money not impressions; not honesty and bravery. Especially we young generation (all my cousins and peers) live in our own 4-5 member family and restrict our lives to them. In my grandfather's time, he used to take care of his own real brothers and sisters, his cousin brothers and sisters, their sons and daughters, their grand children and the next family members. Need not to say he has his own massive family. If you ask me the total members would be around 60-75. I wonder if he would not have selected honesty and bravery, he would be capable of being comrade to all of them.
We believe we get closer by Facebook or Skype but I really wonder if this is how we can be really close. Perhaps limiting our time and friendliness to our immediate ones, we certainly grow but we miss to plant seeds for those who are yet to come and see world!
