It's Sunday night. All off days are over and the thought of going back to work is pain especially when you have spent the holiday at home. Oh! Let me correct, the Wedding home!
Till this time, I heard people commenting a lot on Indian traditional marriage. It's time consuming, noisy, lot of ritual preparations, tiring discussions, frequent gatherings, etc. etc. What is eye-catching is the obvious and happy hearts around. No logic is to be applied here as before the new-bees know each other, the house starts celebrating.
Actually I can see all of them living in the state of unknown positive vibes. Signs of songs coming naturally on their lips, the never ending hospitality between each other, fun and pranks with new couple, gifting and eating long hours, leaving the new bees alone for a while, no opportunity lost in proving one's maturity, fake tension, no sleep and talks all night. Feel romance and togetherness was never so natural except when they show two new hearts joining together. How beautiful are those human who feel happy seeing two hearts start falling in love, starts the path of life together. Its not new or something that can be called invention or need a grand celebration and yet all unconscious, hungry for the party, feel amazing to be on the earth again that they can see love in the air.
When it comes to India celebration, its always grand, magnificent, long and tiring. If arrange marriages is all about coming near for the two families then yes there could not be anything better than that. In the media, India is known as unsystematic, unorganized and idealistic country where there are no processes or steps that you can list down on your notepad to complete a task. Than arrange marriages could be an example (perhaps the sole) of how well systems or processes run in India. Go in the wedding home and ask any lady, she will give you number of lists. List of poojas, list of guests, list of arrangements, list of shoppings, list of food and number of that. The list will come out from a number of approvals more than a budget acceptance. Men of the house have no objection in spending these days. No matter they are CHINGUS through out their life. The reputation matters! There are all possible ritual meanings behind each little preparation and you will wonder even worshiping and meanings goes together. Children of the house are the most common link from where the new bees start synchronizing (sorry for the technical word i.e. connecting). What a time to take lucrative bribe for the children!
