Kapoors have long list of celeb cards to flap in Bollywood. The glories and contribution still continues from them and an attempt is made here to throw a look on growing age and changes in Rishi Kapoor.
He has all reasons to perform young Raju (Little Raj Kapoor in the film "Mera Naam Joker") being a chubby but cute face all loaded with full of innocence and a little slice of Charley Champlain. Though a little but he left a very good first impression at this very early age winning National Film Award for Best Child Artist in 1971.
Any doubts why is he a father of such a chocolaty son (Ranbir Kapoor)? The makeover as a hii-main-mar-jawan-for-this-mundia was absolutely fitting in. He played his first leading role in Bobby which was an instant mega hit in Late 70's and won the Best Actor Award for the role. An unforgettable pair with Dimple Kapadia has just started.
He has that romance in his eyes that girls never used to keep eyes away. He was involved with few of the finest romantic songs of 70's to 90's and gave some memorable films to industry like "Saagar" and "Karma". Rishi Kapoor married to Neetu Singh (his co-actress) and news says this inter-caste marriage was highly objected by their parents but the story was not ended there. Eventually, both families had to agree seeing Rishi Kapoor's high fever affected due to initial refusal of their parents. Today we all know how happy the couple is!
Sardar never looked so cute at this age! Though the film didn't do so well, the dignity, the aggression and the discipline of a Sardar shown by Rishi Kapoor in the movie "Patiala House" was just remarkable. He proved his presence and excellence once again as a solo actor in "Do Dooni Chaar" by winning Critics Award for Best Performance in 2011.
The lethal, the antagonist; Rishi played a negative role (named Rauf Lala) first time in his career in "Agneepath" a 2012 remake movie. While shooting for the action sequences, Kapoor suffered several bad falls and bruises, but continued shooting and was thereby praised by co-star Hrithik Roshan for his professionalism.
Every role he played, he gave full justice to it. He has served in over 100 movies and still continues his solid screen presence with upcoming movies "Student of the Year" in 2012 and his own film remake "Chashmebudoor" in 2014. I wish a very healthy and happy life to this cute little fellow and waiting for tons of more smash hits from him. Long live Rishi Kapoor!
