This is perhaps an era for all reality shows. Shows on music, dance, love, betrayal, army, games and others. People come and come with crowd emotions. They leave everything to get the crown and so there are shows running 5th series. Is it all decided in advance? a fake? Might be. Earlier, who had given such chances to cities and states never came out to such a vast people?
Everything we see going in these shows may not be real and nothing but publicity stunts but when I go to sleep thinking what if I get a chance to participate in shows like these? Will I be thinking the same than? Perhaps not. If I loose and cry amongst 1 million people would it be a publicity stunt in the next news serial? Of course not. I will certainly infringe all such channels. If I win and jump like any other kangaroo, would it be just politics or an act to increase the TRP? I bet it won't be. We need to be little more positive and put some faith in these shows.
Who cares even if some shows are completely copies of overseas shows till the time it gives a big platform to young and new talent?
Indians are emotional basically. You can sell everything here if you bring a tear in eyes or laugh to Indians. My point is these shows can be fake but not the emotions, hard work and passions of these participants. They also know they wont have bigger chance coming again than this. This media would also not be criticizing these shows if some day they go and dig what it actually you need to pay off to reach to such top shows.
