In the name of God

Realization of God is not an event but a process. Don't know why but since I got awareness (not knowledge) of God, I dislike the idea of worshiping MURTIPUJA. Neither I like to discuss it over and over nor like to reach to everyone and stop them explaining who is God? At the end, God is to be understood and to be believed by choice and not by force.

September is always busy for my profession. This month brings GANPATI BAPPA home. My society and actually city is falling more than I fall on my girlfriend (just kidding I don't have any). His fan (of 20's or 30's age) do everything in the name of God. Everything that they can not do otherwise like dancing on a jam-pack street, playing MUNNI BADNAM HUI while inviting or worshiping, gathering and gossiping in working days and what not!
A nature of a human being is that he always praise creator and not the creation. Instead of realizing what they are worshiping, they are happy or joyous in celebrating who they are worshiping. This beauty of worshiping godliness and not the god itself is very well explained by OSHO. He says applause for the dance not the dancer because what remains permanant and ever lasting is dance and not the dancer. We have a wrong belief that we love Michael Jackson, in fact, we love his dance. You know Sir Don Bradman, right? but who is better known at this time? Sachin Tendulkar. Cricket as a game is still the same interesting or even more interesting to watch. Game is pervasive not the player. There is nothing wrong in loving Michael Jackson or Sachin, it's good to love a human being, being a human but surely what shuold be applauded is dance and not the dancer.
This makes me think again. Before you get this awareness of God, you live in dark, you don't realise where you are heading towards. To go, pray or dance against a MURTI of a God, it's better not to know him at all and be content. In later case, you won't be deceiving yourself at least.
