I have been posting on mind too much. Isn't it? What to do though? It goes on thinking, thinking, thinking and restlessly. Mind cannot forget, cannot leave doubts, cannot be stable. A way to make it stable, focus, calm and composed is YOGA (Meditation) but then trust me, a meditated life is boring, dull, without excitements. Just like a T.V. without volume.
At least half of the mankind issues could be solved if man would have controlled his mind but than no we don't want to forget. Don't want to forget that temple or mosque demolished! Don't want to forget that players are human they do loose! Don't want to forget gender bias! Don't want to forget blaming government on each system crisis! Don't want to forget that your girlfriend has dumped you...now move on. That's the way mind is. A mind consisting of RAM and not a virtual memory so that it wipes off your past in seconds and make you see the present more beautiful. Mind carries lot of burden of the past garbage. Even if you control it, I am sure, it will at least raise a question, an issue, an unsettling doubt - "Why does every time it happens to me only?" and then all problems follow like water follow from the tube well in the farm.
In profession, you need to be a great meditate! You forget time you work till, you forget what people are talking behind you, you forget your system takes bribe, you forget if someone insult you amongst 10 other, you forget if the money is not flowing in bank account, you forget if you are abused because your staff cooked it bad. You just forget. Forget all this! This is none of your business. In fact, in my case, none of my profession (Yes, I have to keep myself updating I am in profession and not in business more than my subject updates!)
Watch just last 10 minutes of "ROCKET SINGH - THE SALESMAN OF THE YEAR" which leaves a good insight of an entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship is not about making money or to drink wine in a golden spoon, not a fame- making-fun where you are covered by CNBC 24*7, not about claiming your view as the right view every time or let me call it politics itself and not even about making your next generation fall in the same muddle. Let me speak straight, entrepreneurship is about people you deal with. Trust me, no problem is worst or complex than a human psychology. If you are in business or profession, seat in the office for a day (if you like with a cup of tea or coffee) and make a list of people who remember you or smile at you or respect you as a human being when you face them during your working hours. They can be your clients, your own staff, your professional brothers (let me say sisters as well or I will be guilty of gender bias) your competitor, government authorities, experts or even a CHAIWALA daily refreshing your world. If you have made them happy, made them work with you, you are going to survive or there's always an off button.
You yourself are a big impact on people around you. The way you talk, the way you smile, the way you make their problem your problem, you survive. At the other side of the circle, the day you cheat them, the day you shift your guilt on their shoulders, the day you ring them more for your collection instead of updating their ever loaded non sense mind, you are OUT!
Close that business/profession where you cannot win humans! Else, forget it even run!
sounds a bit pessimistic....
ReplyDeleteWhy do you feel so? because the writing is pessimistic or the business/profession itself is like that? In fact, if you ask me the later itself is pessimistic because there are tons of people involved in it. Thousands of mind think together and spoil it.
ReplyDeleteprobably .......I'd rather support ur opinion in case of Business as I am not quite aware of that field/Profession..
ReplyDeleteOnly difference I can see b/w business and profession is in the later transparency is undoubtedly and inherently expected.
